"Even in the Silence, Finding Joy in the Waiting," by Famia Green, is an excellent devotional study. Each chapter is a guide to a deeper walk with Jesus. Each section within each chapter explores very relevant scriptures, and provides heartfelt encouragement throughout. I found the section titled "His Voice in the Waiting," very powerful. I highly recommend this devotional. It would also make a wonderful gift.

This is a very inspiring devotional. In the difficulties I’m facing it was a comfort to have something speak so clearly and provide guidance and applications. There was no “pray harder and it will be fine” it was raw and showed true depth and pain and hope. It’s always nice when you know the author has gone through it and relied on Jesus. Famia may not have mentioned her struggles but her words come from a place of depth and the sharing she provides was so encouraging. I wish it was longer!
